Phunny Pet Pictures

I just thought that it might be cool to share some funny or cute pet pictures here of the animals that we love and cherish who are a part of our families.

Do you have any funny or cute photos of your pets that you might like to share? It could be just your pet or a kid with the pet or something else entirely! Pretty much anything goes here!

To begin with, here is a photo of my cat Boots, sunning himself in a window sill a number of years ago. Whoever heard of a cat that liked to be on it's back?!

This is a dandy idea! Everyone loves pics of pets! This one is not really funny I suppose without seeing how they interreacted! The little Pug is "Scoutie", the Bernese Mountain Dog is "Zoe"! Total opposites but weren't they good to pose??? That was a Kodak moment. Probably never to happen again!

I don't know if this counts as funny, but it's cute. This is our golden retriever, posing reluctantly during our annual holiday card shoot.

Our children were raised to love all kinds of animals. We had a homemade incubator in the house so our children could experience watching little quails hatch. We talked about the miracle of birth, the struggle of birth and of life. Great teaching time. They had baby chicks, French Lops rabbits, English Lops, dogs, cats, gerbil, the little "sea horses" in the containers that magnify and you can see them swim, two pet chickens, who came when called by name and many others. They had a BB Red which is I think the second smallest type of banny in the world. It was a baby and would run up my daughter's clothes and get under her long hair and go to sleep. She had a little water turtle we found at the river. It's name was "Snappy". How she loved that little turtle. One day, I had cleaned out the bowl and forgot and left "Snappy" outside in a small container of water. I forgot to bring it back in the house. The next day I thought about poor little "Snappy" and freaked out. I ran outside and found "Snappy" floating in the water, all four little legs and feet straight out, half frozen, well, I thought totally frozen. I did some heavy praying, brought "Snappy" in the house, put "Snappy" in warm water and in a bit, I saw a tiny bit of movement and then "Snappy" started to swim. Whew, I was so thankful! We have a terrarium so we would also catch baby frogs and put in it. Catch food for them which a story all to itself. Many more.

The image I am posting were two pet ducks. My daughter is holding "Ducky Lucky" and my son is holding "Princess Tina", "Princess had a little top knot on her head. What great memories this thread is helping me to recall....memories of so many years ago.

I am anxious to see more images of your pets and stories that go along with the image.

At least they agreed to be "guard dogs" together, though!

The two pet chickens came when called by name? I have never heard of such a thing happening with chickens! Fascinating!

It is funny and most certainly is cute! I loved it!

Is your Golden Retriever by any chance related to the Jackalope in some way? Like maybe a distant cousin?
