| | | Found Money.what to do? As I was walking my dog lastnite, I came across a small duffle bag. It looked like it had been lost, since it was in the middle of the street. I picked it up and looked inside to see if there was any ID. I opened it, and it was full of money. What should I do people? I'm broke and could use the money. Should I do the right thing and turn it in? I could really use the money. There is about $500 bucks in there. I knew this was the right place to ask you all for your thoughts on this. | | | | | | |

| The RIGHT thing to do is to give it back to the owner, and if you do not know, give it to a police station near by where they can hold on to it until it is claimed.
And I'm not sure if it happens at your place, but after 6 months of no claim, it is yours, so this way, you did the right thing, and it might even pay off.
Think about it
live with the guilt of stealing a big load of money, or giving it back to someone who may have desperately needed the money...and you might just get it back, fair and square. |

...and also a fun way to get to know people by the way they reacted to, and answered the question, LOL. I honestly thought that some of the people that have gotten to know me here would have busted me from the start, hehe! |
