    Hi, RETT423!

I'm so sorry about your diagnosis!

I'm sure that there would be church organizations that you could approach for help with Christmas. There's also the following search that you might want to click on Christmas Gifts for Needy Children - Google Search

Hopefully, others will be along to address your question with additional ideas for you.

I wish you and yours all the best!

    Thanks!

Santas Anonymous is available in many places. Since I don't know where you live try googling to see if they do Santas Anonymous in your area.

I wish you all the best, I'm so sorry to hear about this hard time in your life.

    Good luck.

I too am sorry that you are ill.

    1. Check with your village hall, your township office, and your county.
    2. Call the reference desk at your public library to find out if they have a "giving tree" or somesuch during the holidays (to help local children/families in need).
    3. Also, ask a reference librarian this same question that you asked us, because they will have a quick reference file box that includes local organizations you can call for help. (The chamber of commerce will also have such a list.)
    4. If you are near a city or even in your own town, check with the newspaper(s); they probably will have a charity food and toy drive for the holidays.
    5. Like Clough said, check with church offices for holiday and even ongoing help with food, clothes, bill-paying, gifts. My church, for instance, adopts needy families throughout the year and during holidays. (The families don't have to be members and won't be forced to join.)
    6. Call Catholic Charities or Lutheran Social Services or the Salvation Army or any other charity that will help with what you need.

Any of these may be willing to find sitters for your kids while you are on dr appts.

If none of these suggestions get you anywhere, please post again or PM me.
