Has anyone found a solution for the invisible biting bugs
I'm just wondering if all of us that are experiencing these invisible biting bugs have something in common. The reason why I say that is that these things only attack certain people. Has anyone explored a possible link to prescription drugs? I myself take about 5 different prescribed drugs.
These things have been biting me for about 9 months now and have found nothing that works. I recently moved thinking that I would leave them behind... well I was wrong they some how followed me. I took all measures such as washing all of my cloth in bleach, borax and hot water before bringing it in the new home. None of my old furniture was taken to the new house, yet it still got in. If anyone has any new control measure please share them with me.
Thank you
Joseph

A majority of the problems stem from inability to identify precisely which "bugs" are attacking you.
If they are truly invisible to the naked eye, then the possibilities are narrowed somewhat; sarcoptic or collombola skin mites or morgellons' dermatitis.
If they are barely visible, you could have biting midges, bird mites, booklice, or half a hundred other insects/arachnids.
Have you seen a dermatologist to rule out allergies and other forms of dermatitis?

First there is no such thing as a "invisible" bug, if you have such, then you have a much more serious issue.
You can in the end, call in professional exterminators.

Catsmine,
Yes I have seen both a dermatologist and a Allergist.. if that's the name for them. I have had 5 different pest control company trying to isolate and identify these bugs however none of them were successful.
These things have not only infested my home but also my work place and vehicles. Initially I was the only one at work that were biting but co-workers are feeling them also. I have tried just about everything that have been used by other folks that I have read about afflected with these bug and nothing works.
You mentioned that it could be Sarcopac or collombola skin mites or morgellions dermatiitus, what are the know treatments?
I disperate for help!
Thank You
Joe

Hello Joe,
I have the same thing going on in my house, my clothes and with my body. I went already to 3 dermatologists and only one diagnosed me with scabies. Well, I was following this treatment with Vermectrin and Permethrin 5% cream and it did not work.
What worked for me was Cedarcide oil or Best Yet for my car. I fumigated my car and my house with one gallon of this product. I only did it once in my car and I can say that I have not seen any of these midges or larvae (c form). I used a fogger with a gallon of Best Yet twice in the house and until now I can say that the environment feels much better now. I vacuum also every day and mop the floors with a little bit of ammonia mixed with Puraclean ( a powerful desinfectant used in hospitals to kill virus like Tubercolusis, etc ) you can get it in DermaTechRx Research Center :: The Science of Skin Care Research :: A Division of Q-Based Healthcare :: DermaTechRx.com. It helped a lot to desinfect the whole house and I use a little bit of the Puraclean to wipe things.
For the clothes I used scabies-killer, but I changed it for PCO product from Cedarcide because is not so expensive.
For my body I was using the scabies-killer products like the sulfur soap, enzimes and oil which help a lot, but I am not sure if it is going to solve the problem.
Finally my recovery (I feel 95% normal again) is due to a prayer group. I have to say began last Saturday. I did not believe it, but at this time, I do whatever it takes.
After that day, I might say my life is getting back to normal again.
Thanks,
Mavis

Sloopyjo, have you ruled out environmental factors? Since only you two are affected is it possible that you and your grandson are more sensitive to something? One other post is discussing sensitivity to mold spores. If it's summer where you are that is the time the spores are released.

Do you have any oak trees in the area. Oak mites or itch mites fall from the trees and float in the breeze because they are so small. They can even float through a window screen. You get a welt that raise for 2 days and itches for 2 weeks, three for full recovery. Itch Mites Prevention and Control

I googled "invisible biting bugs" and got lots of links that will help you get rid of these. I have them and am desperately trying all the remedies that have been recommended. I still need to order some things that you cannot buy locally but right now I'm using borax and ammonia in my laundry and sealing all just washed clothes in a space bag. I am putting clothes that I take off in a garbage bag immediately and tie it up until I can wash them. I have taken down all curtains and washed them and sealed them up. I have taken up and washed all throw rugs, throw pillows and anything else that is washable with 1/2 cup borax and 1 cup of ammonia. I am in the process of sealing my mattresses and box springs in plastic. I will wash down all hard surfaces with a clorox/water solution as recommended. I am still washing, washing, washing clothes and putting them in plastic bags. My car is infested and I plan to use the suggestions given to eradicate them there also. It is a long process and I'm going stark raving mad because they crawl on me and bite me constantly. Hopefully, when I get all the products I need and get everything done that I need to do, they will die out and I can live a normal life again. Hope this helps you to find your answers.

I am having the same problem. I can not see the bugs yet they are attacking me and I am miserable. Help! I have tried everything. There are a lot of people that say windex is the only cure for these invisable bugs, but that it will cost months and hundreds of dollars in windex. I do not have the money to spend on this. I hopefully can find another way. I am glad to know that I am not the only person going through this. I have not seen a common link in any of the people whom have reported this problem. I do not know about you but I am actually hurting myself worse because the itching is so bab I can not stop scratching. Please if anyone has found any answer let us all know. Oh and I did not apreciate the person who said there is no such thing as invisable bugs. Come live with one of us and you will find out that there is.

Dallas, The problem is there are probably fifteen different things causing all this skin irritation, yes including anxiety.
Sensitivities to fabric treatments, molds or fungi, spider bites, mites - both itch mites and parasitic mites, static electricity, even just plain old human perspiration: all of these can cause skin irritation. The tough part is identifying which one is causing your irritation.
Start by figuring out when you are NOT being affected. Compare that to when you are. Eliminate environmental factors ONE AT A TIME until you find the cause.

Catsmine,
I have been to many doctors and so called specilists , I have had many pest control people and other professionals in different ares come to my home. It is not anxiety, allergies or any of the other things you have mentioned. I have friends who live in another household going through the same thing. The youngest is nine and she seems to be suffering worse then anyone. I have checked out many web sites and everything that I have read matches what I am going through. This is why I have realized that what I have is invisible biting driving me out of my mind bugs. Thank you for your suggestions. I hope that someone else reading this finds an answer to what you have said. Oh how I wish it was one of the things you mentioned. That would be wonderful. Thank you again for your suggestions.

No, I have not seen that. Wow that seems to make more since then invisable bugs. Thank you. Since that was 2004 maybe by now they have come up with a solution to getting rid of these. Thank you. I will now be contacting not only my doctor but I will look for someone who has heard of this and see if they have found a solution. Thank you.

A lot of the trouble other people have in talking to sufferers of these unidentified skin irritations is the use of the term "invisible." Try "microsopic" or "naked-eye invisible" and you'll run less risk of being dismissed as hallucinating.

I have been dealing with these bugs for 2 years now and the only thing that has helped a lot is when we start taking something internal these are parasites.

All: I can't speak for everyone who has written comments here but I do want you to know what recently worked for me, it's very good news.
I never believed my husband and I had Morgellons because we did not have any open sores or lesions, only crawling, biting, and stinging sensations, at times producing small red welts that itched a bit and lasted about 24 hours. My husband began getting bumps on his head too. Well, there is a very good chance we were in the early stages of this odd illness as many of you may be as well. I personally have been battling a systemic yeast infection since April and that could very well have made me a prime target. If any of you are experiencing intestinal yeast or any type of fungus, or perhaps you don’t even know you are, you might be a target too.
One of the BIGGEST mistakes my husband and I made was to continue using chemicals. As it turns out, these collembola or springtails feed on both fungus and chemicals, because it is their job to eat and turn over the bad to make good. Collembola live everywhere, they are the reason we have fertile soil and oceans. But if your body is imbalanced, you can be a target for these things because you harbor what they eat, mainly the fungus but also other toxins in your system that you ingest or inhale. The key is to bring your body back to a balanced state.
Now again, I am not diagnosing everyone as having this affliction but it may behoove you to at least give this a shot.
Remove all chemicals, pesticides, food with preservatives, genetically modified foods, creams, lotions detergents etc. from your life and eat only organic foods (a strict Candida diet is best to follow), preferably vegetarian, but free range chicken raised using no hormones and no antibiotics is OK, and use only pure soaps, lotions, on your body. Oh, and eat LOTS of raw organic garlic, raw organic almonds, and perhaps pop a few activated charcoal tablets (great filter remedy) and within time (depending how long it’s been going on for you) perhaps like me, your problem will be resolved. For me it’s been overnight, I’m absolutely astounded at how quickly I got this under control.
Try it; you’ve got nothing to lose. But by all means, do NOT use any of the chemical products listed above (permethrin, ivermectin, Listerine, Windex, etc.) or you will continue to be a thriving habitat for these things. You may even consider buying food grade diatomaceous earth to take internally, which eradicates parasites but is also great for your bones and joints.
Granted, I’m not 100% there yet (it’s only been 24 hours) but I’m about 98% there. My husband has no symptoms and hasn’t had any since yesterday, where before, it was almost constant.
I hope you all find this information helpful but especially successful because I was where you all are for a good 6 weeks. Early detection is key too but it’s possible once you get your body balanced, you’ll be fine.
