    Removed tick from dog
    I just removed a tick from behind my dogs ear and I want to know is there something I have at home I can put on the area that I removed the tick from to make sure I got it all and there is no infection.

    Collodion, available at medical supply pharmacies, will seal the skin to prevent infection. If a part of the tick's head is still buried in the skin, it will form a cyst like a pimple in a couple of days and be expelled.
