Has anyone found a solution for the invisible biting bugs
I'm just wondering if all of us that are experiencing these invisible biting bugs have something in common. The reason why I say that is that these things only attack certain people. Has anyone explored a possible link to prescription drugs? I myself take about 5 different prescribed drugs.
These things have been biting me for about 9 months now and have found nothing that works. I recently moved thinking that I would leave them behind....well I was wrong they some how followed me. I took all measures such as washing all of my cloth in bleach, borax and hot water before bringing it in the new home. None of my old furniture was taken to the new house, yet it still got in. If anyone has any new control measure please share them with me.
Thank you
Joseph
A majority of the problems stem from inability to identify precisely which "bugs" are attacking you.
If they are truly invisible to the naked eye, then the possibilities are narrowed somewhat; sarcoptic or collombola skin mites or morgellons' dermatitis.
If they are barely visible, you could have biting midges, bird mites, booklice, or half a hundred other insects/arachnids.
Have you seen a dermatologist to rule out allergies and other forms of dermatitis?

Catsmine,
Yes I have seen both a dermatologist and a Allergist..if thats the name for them. I have had 5 different pest control company trying to isolate and identify these bugs however none of them were successful.
These things have not only infested my home but also my work place and vehicles. Initially I was the only one at work that were biting but co-workers are feeling them also. I have tryed just about everything that have been used by other folks that I have read about afflected with these bug and nothing works.
You mentioned that it could be Sarcopac or collombola skin mites or morgellions dermatiitus, what are the know treatments?

Hello Joe,
I have the same thing going on in my house, my clothes and with my body. I went already to 3 dermatologists and only one diagnosed me with scabies. Well, I was following this treatment with Vermectrin and Permethrin 5% cream and it did not work.
What worked for me was Cedarcide oil or Best Yet for my car. I fumigated my car and my house with one gallon of this product. I only did it once in my car and I can say that I have not seen any of these midges or larvae (c form). I used a fogger with a gallon of Best Yet twice in the house and until now I can say that the enviroment feels much better now. I vacuum also every day and mop the floors with a little bit of ammonia mixed with Puraclean ( a powerful desinfectant used in hospitals to kill virus like Tubercolusis, etc ) you can get it in DermaTechRx Research Center :: The Science of Skin Care Research :: A Division of Q-Based Healthcare :: DermaTechRx.com. It helped a lot to desinfect the whole house and I use a little bit of the Puraclean to wipe things.
For the clothes I used scabies-killer, but I changed it for PCO product from Cedarcide because is not so expensive.
For my body I was using the scabies-killer products like the sulfur soap, enzimes and oil which help a lot, but I am not sure if it is going to solve the problem.
Finally my recovery (I feel 95% normal again) is due to a prayer group. I have to say began last Saturday. I did not believe it, but at this time, I do whatever it takes.
After that day, I might say my life is getting back to normal again.
I dont see there is any help answering this question. but i have the same problem I'm getting bet by somthing I can't see. Sloopyjo, have you ruled out environmental factors? Since only you two are affected is it possible that you and your grandson are more sensitive to something? One other post is discussing sensitivity to mold spores. If it's summer where you are that is the time the spores are released.
Do you have any oak trees in the area. Oak mites or itch mites fall from the trees and float in the breeze because they are so small. they can even float through a window screen. You get a welt that raise for 2 days and itches for 2 weeks, three for full recovery. Itch Mites Prevention and Control
