shyness problems

ok so im 13 and im extremely shy especially around my guy friends whether i like them or not. but the thing is that when im at home i can be myself and act like an idiot and whatnot. the one thing that doesnt help me out at all though is the fact that im homeschooled :/ can someone please help me. i only have a few friends that i can really be myself around and i have more than enough acquaintances that i would like to be closer to that i hang out with every once in a while. i tend to just go silent when i with new people and when they talk to me sometimes i talk back but when i do it usually comes out as a whisper and i hate it! i just feel extremely lonely lately and i need help
