Power in relationships?

How do you regain power in a relationship? Any ideas?

What do you mean by regain power in a relationship.

I do not think there should be any power. I think that a relationship is give in take on both sides and both people in the relationship working together. Sharing together and communicating with each other.

Nothing to do with power. It has to do with love, understanding and communication with each other.

If the relationship is one sided then the person that is always given should think about not being in that relationship anymore. The person who has power over another will put the other partner down all the time. The one that has power over another is the controller. The only way to gain control is actually by getting out of it.

I know I might have not answered it exactly as you wanted but I believe the only way to get up from somebody else having power is to actually leave because that takes the power out of their hands and out of their control.
