How to let my mother know that I need to wear a bra ?

I'm 11 years old and I think that I need to wear a bra and my mother don't think about it so how I can face her in a indirect way ? And I'm so embarrassed when I talk about this stuff ?

Listen....you are going to have to talk about other things soon that will be far more embarrassing than that.

You mother has been through this before herself. Trust me in that you CAN talk to her about this.

Start by asking her when she started wearing a bra.

Then just tell her you too are at that stage of life and would like her help in picking one out. (Even if you don't want her help ....pretend you do. It makes parents feel useful)

When I was in your shoes I felt the same way. So the next time we went clothes shopping (which happened once a year) I picked out a bra and gave it to her with a couple shirts in line so she could purchase them without having to face her because I was embarrassed. But it got the point across without me having to confront it! Not everyone has a comfortable relationship with their mom. My mother and I have never been able to talk about stuff like that.
