My feelings are all messed up.

So I done something today that I've been putting off for a long time... I made an apointment to see a doctor about my health. Well the thing is, I'm happy that I made that choice to call and make the apt. but for some reason, it upsets me because I feel as though If I can do something as simple as that then I can get through my other problems with it being that simple...but I can't... I don't know how to go about it the right way... any advice?

Putting off making a phone call, one that means you are taking care of yourself is human nature for some of us. It was quick and simple wasn't it? Letting your other problems go on, without fixing them is human too. That's not what you want to do though.

Just like picking up that 10,000 pound phone, starting on the solutions of other issues takes a step. Sometimes it's a frightening step! You are completely adequate to whatever life throws at you. Trust yourself. Trust your own good intentions. Then, do your best while making those steps, one at a time.

I know, it's easy to talk about; hard to do. I need to walk the dog now. Don't wanna!

The problems I'm having are simple to the world but hard to cope with for myself. Something as simple as not crying over little things, or making myself get up at a decent time, is a huge step for me that I haven't been able to deal with yet. Simple it seems, huh?

It was very simple for me to pick that phone up, just the idea that i'd have to talk to someone about my problems was the hard part. Sometimes my intentions gets me in the wrong place at the wrong time.... figures though!

I've been taking baby steps and it's hard to even do that but slowly but surely I'm making progress and nothing makes me more happier!

Well, I'm glad you made an appointment and are taking care of your health. We all have to deal with different situations, issues and problems. Some of them are easy, some of them we have to talk ourselves into - and some stuff we need someone to listen to us until we can make a decision. I recently met with a friend of mine to talk about a work situation - there were so many variables, things I had to consider before I felt I could make the right decision for me. Don't be so hard on yourself, you are going to handle what you can, and ask others for help when you need it. Thats all right, we are all learning and growing as we go along. Take care.
