Vacation time is considered a fringe benefit. The law does not require that a company pay vacation pay.

If a company pays vacation pay it must follow the policies and rules it has given to the employees regarding vacation time.

You will need to look in your employee handbook or call your HR manager and ask what the policy is for vacation in your company.

Manycompanies do not give vacation time until you have worked for a year.
