taxes on my commision check

They are taking about 32.4% out of my commision check, but I only make about $35,000 per year. Am I automatically going to get that back in my tax return, or how do I get all of that back.

If you are strictly on a straight commission basis then I can not understand why they are taking any taxes out of your check. Under these conditions you are self employed. Now the Federal Government may require that you send in quarterly payments to the IRS (if you are an American) based upon your projected annual income.

Unless you are confusing the deduction with something else that they are deducting (possibly a contractual agreement, i.e. some form of expenses, etc) I can not see how they can do this. I would address this with them now to correct it, mistakes happen, or get a clear explanation of what is being deducted.

Good luck,
Stringer
