If a terminated employee has a negative vacatiion balance, can this negative amount be deducted from employee's final paycheck? Do we need to have a letter signed by the employee at the time they would go negative that if they leave the company it will be deducted from their final paycheck? Can we deduct this amount from either salaried or hourly employees?
