Kansas Law on Paychecks

How long can an Employer in Kansas hold my first paycheck. I've worked four weeks with no pay and by the time I expect to get one it will be five weeks

The company should have told at hiring when paydays were. you have to be paid according to that.

How often do they pay, what is the pay cycle. Do they pay monthly, or bi weekly?

If you are paid monthly this would be correct depending on when you started in the pay period.
