to get the payment

i was working for a company 5 days = 1 day trial, they didnt give me a contract, they said they'll give me a few days later. By the time i decided to leave the job as i wasnt happy there, and i asked the manager how he will pay me, he said he wont pay me because how im leaving. Later he changed his mind and he said, if i want my money i have to sign the contract. I said but why, i dont want to work for u, he said he cant put me on the payroll, if i wont dsign the contract. Idont know what to do now, i dont trust him.

Contact the labor relations board in your state. Most have laws as to how long an employer has to pay an employee after they leave.
Good Luck !
