First, I can barely understand this.

Second, what is it that you know that qualifies you to post here?

If you read the entire thread,my first thought was to "hang" this guy,and it was not received well.

Then some others with "seniority" came on board and backed up the idea that the guy was bad

And "statuory rape" was the talk so everyone jumped on board.

    What is it?

It will only make them stronger?
They will do what they want anyway?
    Or
    Send him to jail?

    read the thread its there
First, Your post (as Judy quoted it) did not actually go against this guy. You still left it open that he may not have been that bad a guy. You then recanted that advice. I was actually the first poster to take the hard line that this MAN should be prosecuted.

If other members jump on someone's advice its because they find it good and accurate. I don't discount the expert tag influencing some people, but most of the regulars here have their own minds.

I think your problem is more one of jealousy. You want to be respected as an advisor here and its not happening because your advice hasn't been that great. You also have a problem in fighting with other people.

Now I do not want this thread hijacked for this. So I will remove any comments on this post. If you want to discuss this further you can statrt a new thread in Feedback or PM me.

NORMAL 18 year old guys want nothing to do with 14 year old girls... they are too immature for them. THere is a vast difference between 14 and 18 with emotional development.

Any 18 year old guy that chases after a 14 year old to sleep with is preying on them because they can BS them into bed. That's exactly why statutory rape laws are on the books.

No 18 year old man is a "good guy" if he is chasing after a 14 year old girl much less sleeping with them.

We have to protect our children from preditors until they are old enough, and have the maturity to make informed decisions for themselves. No 14 year old fits that description.
