I am looking for some father's day ideas. I've already come up with one that I would like some input on; any other ideas are welcome too, just in case mine doesn't pan out.
My idea: I'd like to send father & son on a treasure hunt. What I mean is I want to leave clues in different places that they find that leads them to the next clue. There isn't really a goal, so much as to just let them have fun. I am going to send them to a different town to mix things up a bit. The town in Bend, OR. Any & all ideas are welcome.
So far I have brainstormed having them go to lunch, & a clue be in the menu (the restaurant would be in on it). Maybe have them go to a store and have an item (that I bought a head of time) that the cashier would give them, maybe upon a "magic word", and the clue could be inside of it- that would also give them a keepsake. Another idea, but I don't know how to make this one work, is to send them to Goody's, because son LOVES goody's.
I am thinking the finish will involve me, like meeting up for dinner somewhere to hear about their day.
