I was at a BBQ and one of the gals there was so hammered, she was falling all over the place. She had been drinking Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and beer. For hours! Then she proceeded to breast feed her baby. I was in shock and me having a big mouth, said something. Then, a couple of the girls ganged up on me and went off about how alcohol takes 12 hours to reach the breast milk and that the baby was fine. Now, to me that sounds like a bunch of horse . Nothing I could say would convince them otherwise. The girl in question does not drink a lot usually. But still, even this once, with that much alcohol, should I remain concerned?

THere is always a debate on this topic. I for one think it should be a misdemeanor to breast feed a child while u are Drunk. You run the risk of infering with a child normal development stage. DO u really what to take that risk that just my 3 cents
