Heres another one of my mama is nuts rants here goes :

My mama is angry with my stepdad this morning bc his sister called yesterday saying that some woman named molly called inquiring about a car that he has been looking to sell for about 3 yrs now. My mom got angry bc his sister informed her that "molly" said that she remembered seeing my stepdad driving the car in town and remembers him from seeing him in the grocery store. Well my mama hearing this has once again gone postal (read knife wielding mama post) shes screaming and yelling at my stepdad asking him "is he having an affair with that (insert racial slur for white person and yes my mama claims to be a christian) woman. Shes been going on for hours about how ALL white women think every blk man wants them and such.

Well now theyve been holed up on the kitchen for two hours now yelling and screaming...and ive been patient but my doctor has told me that with my acid reflux that i needed to eat especially in the morning so i dont get sick. Do you think my mama cared that ive been up since 10 am (which is what time the started arguing) and havent eaten and my hands are shaking and im nauseated no she does not. She threw me out of the kitchen until they were "finished" which wont be until she gets done being angry (prolly another three hours).

Oh well im done with my rant i guess ill chew some bubblegum i have maybe tha will help the shaking and nausea.

is there like a nighbor you know nerby or a store, if so go there and get something to eat. if not than tell your mom in a loud voice (not yelling) tha you NEED to eat, not want not i'm hungry NEED.

Twink...call the police and call those numbers I gave you...nothing is ever going to get better if you don't do something.
If your hands are shaking from not eating you probably have low blood sugar also called hypogylcemia.

You are college-aged, so your mom is probably menopausal by now. All women act like lunatics then, trust me. If everyone's extremely careful, no one will get killed. It's just raging hormones, sort of like becoming a teenager only in reverse.

TwinkletOes26, in past posts you have told us that you are a 26 year old and have a psych degree. I would think that your training in this field would allow you to help diffuse these situations or at least guide you into what you should do. It is obvious to me as an outsider that you need to remove yourself from this dysfunctional relationship. I'm sure you have several good excuses for not doing it, but the cold hard fact is that nothing is going to change. Your mother holds all the power in the relationship and makes your life unhappy. It is time for you to cut your apron strings, get two jobs if that is what it takes to get a place somewhere else or move in with other family members.

We are here to help support you and listen to rants for sure, but b!tching about things and not doing anything productive about it is not going to move you forward.

Call the church and ask the pastor to call back and talk to her, about nothing in particular, but you'll at least have time to get into the kitchen for a sandwich.

Yes, get yourself one of those little throw away phones for emergencies like this. At least you could order a pizza that way!

I called our local pastor and told him what was going on....min later he called her and asked her how things were going. She told him EVERYTHING and he said in a very nice christian way that she was being a crazy woman and needed to stop or shell drive me and my stepdad away. She got mad(not surprised) and hung up on the man of God???
