Rock in Christianity
Looking for Christians who like rock music. Please tell me any songs you like that relate to the God. I Believe by Joe Satriani and Hold On To Your Dreams by Triumph are two of many I like.

Hi, PAULERNY!
Now. You've posted another thread very similar to the one that can be found via clicking on the following link.
https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/music/...ck-402055.html
I do note, that you have not responded to anyone who posted a response on the other thread.
Please keep inquiries about what you're wanting to know that are about basically the same thing, confined to one thread, please.
Not doing so, only causes confusion here.
Thanks!

Personally I like the old standard hymns and some of the best chanting.
Peace and kindness,

Hi, arcura!
Perhaps PAULERNY might like some of those too, if PAULERNY was exposed to them. I like them! It does depend on how they are performed, though...
Thanks!

U2 Beautiful day, Yahweh, I still haven't found what I'm looking for... etc.
Chris De Burgh, The road to freedom, Revolution...
Lifehouse, Everything.
I'd say do not put a label on music but whenever you find something in a song that somehow shows you God, then go for it!
I heard this story about the U2 band.In their early years they were attending some kind of Christian church but they were also playing rock music, so someone in that church made them choose because it is supposed you cannot have both:confused:So to the question God or Rock their answear was God through Rock!
Personally, I say Thank God for their choise!

Hi again, Fred!
Yes, they can be "moldy oldies" or "rockin' oldies"!
How they're performed can make a HUGE difference in how they're perceived and appreciated, or not, by the listener!
Thanks!

If you're trying to look for Christian rock music try a group known as Guardian. Though, I don't know if you're looking for something that heavy. Try their earlier albums. It might be heard for you to find them though. And as for U2, I'm sorry, I don't consider them Christian.
