I keep having a dream that I am flying at night.

I keep having a dream that I am flying at night. I have to work real hard with my arms to keep going.I can see below me and above me, like it is real. At first it freaked me out and I remember being scared and tired. It was like at some point I was realizing I could go up or down , but if I kept going in the same direction, I would be moving up. The next time someone was with me, I did not know him, and we were running from someone or something , then I remembered I could fly. But I had to concentrate hard and physically work my arms to fly, so I lost sight of this person, he did not come with me.Then I looked down and seen this old apartment complex I used to live in but I wasnt scared this time, I think because in the dream I was the one who made myself fly(?). It is really intereting to me and I would love to know if this is for a reason?

I used to fly in my dreams too. I've heard and read that it's actually your soul leaving your body and going visiting. It's called astral projection and there are a lot of books on it. If you wake up in the middle of the night and feel a little paralysed and paniced it's because you had a rocky re-entry (soul back into body). Then there is the other school of thought that it's simply a dream and Freud said flying is your dreams is empowering. Maybe it's only a dream and maybe you are really traveling. If you want to do some research I would recommend Edgar Cayce and Sylvia Browne books.

Its more than likely Astro Projection.

It has been said that dreaming of flying at night denotes that the person is trying to rise above their troubles and trials in life. When you say you had to concentrate hard and work with your arms to fly, it may also be indicative that you are having special difficulties that can make it harder to rise above certain particular states of stress this may be causing. All dreams are experienced for a reason but most dreams appear symbolically as did yours. Some introspection on your part may help to elucidate your innermost feelings about this situation and perhaps make the tie with your dream. Also know that in today's high-tensioned world, many dream about flying, to rise above their woes, troubles and concerns in what may be facing them at the moment.

_______________
God's Word is indeed *infallible*. It's man's mis-interpretation and re-interpretation of it that I am concerned about.
