Is my house Haunted?

I moved into this house 11months ago it was built in1870 next to a graveyard. The first night we were in the house the basement door slammed shut from the kitchen. two weeks later about five am I heard a growling voice from the other room say "Get out Mother F****** get out) Now I had been up all night playing online poker so mabey I thought I had dozed off and my mind had been playing tricks on me. My wife and daughter hear footsteps where our closet is when there is no one upstairs. There has been knocking that guests have heard and there is no one at the door. My daughter woke up for no explanible reason with a black eye! The basment door slams shut with no reason. Things are going missing all the time. My wife fell down the stairs the other day and says she felt like something pulled her legs out from underneath her. Today while I was downstairs in my office my wife was in the bathroom on the toilet the doorknob started violently screwing itself loose. She later noticed that the curtian rod over the bath tub which is the tension type was extremley crooked. No one took a shower as it was mid day and our children were at school. The dog has sat on the edge of the bed growing and barking at the corner of the room where the closet is in our room. In winter I walked into our room and asked my wife if she was talking to me because I heard voices she said no.
Our first two weeks here my six year old toldme there is a ghost that comes at night and takes all the little kids in the neighborhood to the grave yard and props them up agianst a headstone nand they sleep there until morning. I asked her if this was a bad dream and she said " No daddy this happens at night" very matter of factly. I love this house and I believe that everything can be explained but could my wife be more sensitive than I?

I bought the house the regular way with a realtor and a mortgage. I forgot to add that two people other than myself have seen shadows. my wife is scared I am not. My daughter is not scarred at all. When I first looked at the house I aksed the lady of the house if it was haunted and she said no. I am a investigator for a living and I remeber her answer as being stressed or concealing. Her husband was on the road working as they has fallen into financial problems. The Man loved the house the woman did not. I have fallen into the same pattern and now work on the road.

almost no one would tell you if it was haunted-they wouldnt sell!

Regardless if it is or isnt haunted, I think the fact that your wife is scared-should motivate you into buying elsewhere-don't risk your marriage mate!

well it seems to me that there is a lot of physical phenomenon, and it also looks like theres been some physical violence brought upon your family (i.e. your wife falling down the stairs and your daughter's black eye) are there any other injuries??
