lill miss, I am a little confused. Did you try taking a picture in another room or outside and see if the problem is still there? Let us know the results.

Well, when you took the pictures, was sun coming in through the window? If it was, was it in front of you, behind you, or to the side of you when you took the pics? If no sun, what kind of lighting and mirrors do you have in your room? Can you describe as thoroughly as possible?

Do you have a mirror in your room? Was your camera flash on?

Don't be scared, I am sure there is a logical reason for this. If you haven't had any problems before, why would a ghost suddenly decide to show up now?

Personally, I would try recreating it and then I would try changing the lighting, open the shade, turn on a light. I believe since you aren't using the flash in a dim room, you are creating a situation in which there will be distortion in the picture. That has happened to me in a room that wasn't well lit or the lighting is in the wrong place. Regular digital cameras are not the greatest when it comes to dim lighting.
