Flying Dream Three Nights in a Row

The last three nights I have had the same dream, I am flying (not in a plane) but, me myself - I am above a little quaint town that is like a kinkaid painting, their are tall pine trees and a little snow on the ground and trees with ice on the ground - I am flying pretty high and circling around everything is pretty cool until I start flying higher and higher and then I seem to get too high and feel like I am getting out of control, then I get cold and really scared. Want does that mean? Thanks for you help.

You are just experiencing the wonderful gift of astral travel. I used to fly all the time in my dreams as a kid perching on treetops like a bird would. I found out years later that this is a form of astral travel. The reason you get afraid is because you have no idea what is happening to you. No need to be afraid of doing this in your sleep. You will always come back to your body safe and sound when you are done flying.

I still astral travel but not as much as I did when I was much younger.

I had an OBE after a rather nasty accident where I should have died but didn't have the brains to stay dead. Yep. I'm definitely not afraid to die - it's just another dimension that we all go into.

Happened to me while meditating years ago and now when I meditate deeply its almost involuntary.
I want to be in control of it,so its a iffy situation with me.

I get to a meditative state and I have no choice but to go and thats not cool for me.It makes me hold back and I dont want to do that either because that seems wrong somehow.

Fear grounds me.Weird huh?
