Can I contact my deceased father?
My father died of a heart attack when my mom was 7 months pregnant with me. This past weekend my sister-in-law, her brother, cousin and I were playing with a Ouiji board. (I know that it is very dangerous and I refused to do it in my home or anywhere around my child) We were trying to contact my dead father, but it didn't work. The board said that it was my father and everything and even said the age that he died, but the information wasn't correct on any of the other questions and when I said that outloud the pendelum thing went to goodbye. Anyway, I am too scared to play with the Ouiji board anymore because I don't want to let bad spirits in my life because I don't want anything happening to my daughter. My question is, is there any way that I can contact my dead father with out leashing evil spirits? Is it even possible to contact him? I am just curious, because I never got a chance to meet my dad and I have a ton of questions that I would like to ask him, if it is possible. Can anyone give me any advice? Good or Bad. Thanks!

I do know of a way to contact the deceased. However,. It might not work for you, unless you have connections with someone in the Asian community who practice Shamanisim or another form of Spiritual practices.

It's not a negative way if you can find a Shaman who knows what they are doing. Some people have the ability to contact the dead, but they don't know how to close the hole back up so other's don't follow them back. If you can find a Shaman willing to take the trip for you, they can contact your father for you.

The main problem will be finding a Shaman. It's no easy feat. Shaman's don't work for just money. If you're not in their clan or culture, it maybe harder for you. But if you can find someone willing to take the trip to the "other side", it might work.

There are some rare people (that I know of, but won't mention their names), who can simply contact the dead using a different method because they were born with the ability to just let a Spirit temporarily access their body so they can talk. Let me get this out there- they do not use any forms of drugs and are not crazy. They are normal people and what they do is concentrate on a particular Spirit. However, they rarely do it because they are afraid that they might not have enough strength to push the Spirit back out. Once, too many tried to clamber into him and he struggled for a long time to get them to leave him. It also shortens his life span if they do it too much.

There are many different people out in the Asian community who might be able to assist you the right way. N.E.V.E.R. mess with the Ouiji board, and if you do, ALWAYS burn it up. You're just asking for it if you play with it.

Another note: It's not good to bother the Spirits who have already passed on. It's not common for someone to keep pestering someone who has already passed on because it is said to sadden that Spirit to not wanting to leave and be reborn (or whatever happens). Typically, a Shaman is needed when there is trouble with a Spirit not leaving them alone. Not the other way around. If anything, you should leave him in peace and pray to him whenever you can.

    Good luck.

Thank you for the information. I do not want to do through all of that trouble though. I thought that there might be an easier way.

As for the Ouiji board, I am not messing with it anymore, it scares me. And for future reference, you are NEVER supposed to burn a Ouiji board. When you do, it opens the portal to the other world and there is no way to close it. That is what I have been told.

And, I am sure that my father has already gone and been reborn (or whatever happens) because he has been dead for 23 years and I don't think that anyone has tried to contact him.

Again, thanks for your advice. I think that I am going to leave this whole thing alone. It really freaks me out. :)

My friend just used a site called findingclosure.com. They use psychic mediums to contact the dead and he said the results were very good. :)

I was under the impression that burning a ouiji board just perminently holds whatever portal you opened open. So my advice is to not burn it if you do mess with one. If something bad happens I'd try to get ahold of someone who knows what they're doing to help you. Don't destroy it. That could just make the situation worse.

Destroying a ouija board doesn't keep anything open. The person opened THEMSELVES up by reaching out to communicate. The spirit then has a right to be with the person since they willfully contacting the spirit world. It has nothing to do with the board. I'd burn 50 of them right now if I could.

Hi, have you ever had a saaunce (dont mind my spelling), I watch a lot of paranormal shows, and they do the saaunce to talk to the dead, now does it work, I know people who says it does, so maybe you can considerate that.

I watch a lot of show like I said, I watch ghost Adventures, which they do some real stuff, and they did a saaunce and they did connect with the dead they were wanting to connect with, another way is if you have a item called the spirit box, where the dead can use to talk to our world. Just a few suggestions for you, will they work? Don't know can't say, however when I have witnessed them they worked. You can try them and see if not, you can always contact ghost adventures and maybe they will send zak, nick, and aaron to help you contact your father.

    Good ;uck

Even in the paranormal field, the team from Ghost Adventures has a less than respected reputation. I would suggest not trying anything you see on TV.
