| | | Will you take a look at this page for me? I'm making a site where my client wants this minimalist approach for her homepage. Will you look at it and tell me
1. What resolution you're viewing at,
2. what monitor size you use, and
3. if you can see the bottom line ("Custom Coordinated Invitations and...) without scrolling?
Here's the page: Paper Occasions
Thanks! | | | | | | |

| 1. 1280 X 768
2. Not sure, but it's a laptop and quite tiny
3. Nope
The layout looks nice, I like the gray/pink. |

| 13" Monitor??
If I win the lottery I'll be asking for your address. I'll send you a monitor
I'm hoping to find that it's all visible with users on a minimum of 1024x768 (which you are) and 15" monitor. |

Can you see everything but the bottom line, like with nauticalstar? |

| Yes, it cuts off right above the last line. I can read "Paper Occasions" and see the design next to it without moving a thing. |

| ...I realize too that it will depend on how many rows of toolbars a user is using...
I'm rooting around for a website that shows screenshots looking at it with varying settings... |

| uh...
1024x768
15"
and no... i have to scroll down. one line of toolbar icons and crap at the bottom of my screen and one at the top of my browser.
im NOt going to try to tell you how to design, but personally, i dont need to read "welcome to" when the name of the page could be at the top. i think is wasted space to tell me what im going to see.. just show me without the intro... |
