what does it mean by competition of internal resorces and acessing external enviroment

My assignment is not the definition of these terms, my assignment is whole other ascept that I must do on my own these 2 terms are in there but i am addressing a situation and that is my job to do.

If some one can please briefly give a definition, example or a good web resorce addressing these to that would be great...

competition for internal resources: Budgets, incentives for employees, materials, people ect...


Assesing extral enviroment: market share, lacking consumer interest, economy ect...


If I am off please only give exple like i just did, because this is my assignment and I am to write it my self. I earn my own 3.91 GPA
