Forestry, trees, land and planting what do you think

I'm doing a course in forestry and also have been accepted into maritime college of forest tech starting this sept... i am trying to finish my course before school starts.

I am so totally stuck on a couple questions..

1: If a forest exists on a 5% slope comprised of a subsoil layer of heavy clay it can be assumed that the forest is susceptible to :
a) fire
b) insects
c) wind damage
d) erosion

the answer i chose is C) wind damage because if it was fire you would see a subsoil layer with burnt matter or organic debris ( i think) . slope should not determine insect problem because there would be no still water. and the slope is not steep enough for erosion and it doesnt state that any soil is washed away and a 5 grade is not steep..

2: a friend wants to plant a tree next to his two story home. you suggest he plants an :
a) seedless ash
b) white birch
c)hybrid willow
d) american sycamore

i chose b) because it is tall but not too tall, does not have a huge canopy and is called one of the most attractive tree species in north america though it often does split into more then one trunk

what is your opinion on my answers?

i have failed this quiz and can re-take it these two questions i got wrong including another five i got wrong
