hi. i'm new here. i really need help guys. i'm not a geek when it comes to computers. i'm using windows vista ultimate. i'm using yahoo messenger beta 9.0. the problem occurred just yesterday. i tried using my ym, i was able to log in but i couldn't see all of my contacts. i logged out-logged in several times and it's still the same. i tried using web messenger, i encountered the same problem. tried restoring my system but the same problem occurred. i tried searching for help online. i tried uninstalling ym but i get this error message: cannot open install.log file. tried it several times, but it won't work. tried using ym again, and worst, all i can see is just the box and the menu bar. i tried installing yahoo messenger 8.1, problem's the same. i even tried installing yahoo messenger for vista to check if the error has to do compatibility i get this error message: yahoo messenger for vista did not install successfully, try installing again after restarting your computer. tried it a dozen times already but it didn't fix the problem. please help. this is so frustrating. please help me!
