Open dialog box

After storing information in a document file, I was unable to open the file at a later time.
Information on the screen : "The command cannot be performed because a dialog box
is open." How do I close the dialog box? I have Windows XP

I think you are working with pdf files -- hope this helps

You receive a "The command cannot be performed because a dialog box is opened" error message when you try to open a file in Word 2007 or in Word 2003

Every thing on the screen can be closed in Task Manager --Ctrl --ALT -- Del

Select Task Manager and look for item to close -- Highlight it by left clicking on

it -- Then Click END TASK
