    SVChost.exe application error when my computer booth up
    When I boot up my computer (Windows XP Home) I get the following message:
    Svchost.exe Application Error. The instruction at 0x7c91b1fa referenced memory at 0x00000010 could not be written. Ckick OK to terminate or click Cancel to debug. Anyone have a solution for this? Thanks

    From a gent named Patricko on another help site:

    Click START > RUN and type services.msc, then click OK. The Services window will now be displayed.

    Scroll down the list of services until you see the "Windows Driver Foundation - User Mode Driver Framework" service. Double-click on this service so as to display its Properties window.

    Under the General tab, ensure that the "Startup Type" is set to Disabled.

    Exit the Services window and "Reboot" your computer.

    This fixed the problem for me, and hopefully for you too...

    Windows Driver Foundation - User Mode Driver Framework does not show in services
    Can I get it back or is the Windows install missing it. I am using WIN XP SP3?
