Office XP installation error code 1304
When trying to install Office XP I am presented with the following message "error code 1304 cannot write to Programme files/common files/microsoft shared/smart tag/IETAG.DLL please verify you have access to that directory"

Obviously I've entered the CD code, otherwise the installation wouldn't have continued so how do I rectify the problem.

As a possibly related problem my Office Professional 2003 stopped working last week, every time I tried to open a document it would initialize a configuration and then come up with a similar error message, as a result I un-installed it and tried the later version.
