Ok, with my MVP status, I have to monitor a few Microsoft newsgroups. So I need a News reader. I've started using Thunderbird and its works OK, but I can't find some features I want. Here's my wish list:

1) automatic flagging of threads that I respond to
2) ability to flag threads I want to monitor
3) ability to filter view to only flagged threads
4) automatic signature insertion
5) customize menu or toolbar to provide one click access to 1-4
6) e-mail notification of responses in flagged threads

I can do # 2 & 3 in T-bird, but, I can't seem to find the ability to do the others. I'd like to continue to use T-Bird, because I'm using the U3 version so its portable.

So, if anyone can point me to how to do those things or a Newsreader that does them, I would appreciate it.
