I'm getting "serious error loading data; document appears to be damaged..." with my file in MS Works 9.0 database. I'm using Windows XP. According to the Microsoft site, this problem was fixed before 9.0 was released, but I'm getting the error message and the file was created with 9.0 also, so I'm not trying to open an older version's file. I've lost a critical file, because my backup gives the same message. Please help if you can and thanks in advance.
