Database connection to 'Mobile' failed?

When trying to open program NSTAR (Prox Panel), I get the message "Database connection to 'Mobile' failed."
I have Vista, Program works fine on my Desktop PC with XP, but not on my Laptop 'Mobile'
Any ideas to correct this will be appreciated.

It doesn't work on Vista, tried to uninstall won't let it, Why is it with continual updates, That Vista Doesn't recognize MANY file extensions? Are they slow or stupid.
It hurts my head wondering how a company so big and powerful, give the impression of Stupidity. Compatibility Wizard is Crap also.
Looks like I will have to purchase XP for my laptop to make up for The inability of Vista to work with many programs and Software????
Good news for Microsort, They get to make a Sale$$$$$,
