How do I put multiple pictures in a word Document?

hi Everyone

I'm writing a word document and need to put mulitiple pictures in the same page.
A Figure actually,like ABCDEF,6 or 9 pictures side by side.in the old Word document you can do that but not in 2007.
This isnt a powerpoint,please someone tell me exactly how I can do this,thanks

Have you tried using text boxes and then inserting images in them?

Just a thought... There might also be other ways to accomplish what you're trying to do.

text box,is that in page layout in word? i'll try that,thanks
