You can't

rar files are like zip files, just a different type or form of compression.

A program called Winrar will basically unpack or unzip any rar files.

You should be able to find Winrar through a google search.

If I remember correctly, the file sharing program, Kazaa, had a program in it that would compress and uncompress files into mp3. That was the older version, prior to Music industry's law suits. You still would need WinRAR to open the file. If you can come across an older version of Kazaa you should be able accomplish what you want. I haven't used the new Kazaa, so I do not know if it still has that capability. Good Luck

Well, first thing, You don't want Kazaa, or kazaa lite, both are monitored by people that can knock on your door and take you to court.

And Kazaa is loaded with spyware, adware, viruses, trojans and anything bad you don't need.

RAR to MP3

The RAR format is used in Newsgroups. It can compress large files (movies) and MP3's.
Try http://techsono.com/weapons/rardecoder.html the file on this site is available as freeware.I dont know anything about the site,so use at your own risk.

As Wendy advised, stay away from Kazaa. You dont want spyware on your PC.

Best wishes,
Nez.
