Can't Launch a CD on My Computer

have a Panasonic CF-47 Toughbook with Windows 98. I want to view some pictures on my CD but when I launch the CD from My Computer, I keep getting the message: D:\ is not accessible; The device is not ready. Retry. Well, I retry and nothing happens.

I might mention that I have Kodak Easy Share Software, and I have been successful with another CD, using the KESS. But this time, I keep getting that message. I've tried many ways to launch the CD, but to no avail. The CD has no photo brand on it. It's my 40th high school reunion pictures.

Please inform me on what I can try. Thanks.

CD Error

Hi,
I also use Win98SE, with a normal CD-ROM, and a Burner Drive.
It's possible that the CD is corrupt; I hope not.
Try the CD on another computer, see if you can view the pictures.
You might also check http://www.google.com, and search for a UDF reader; if you don't already have it.
Best wishes,
fredg
