Community involvement/interests

Hi I am New Zealand Maori aged 21 and I am applying for a scholarship. I need help in writing about my community involvement/interest. Back in 2004/2005 I joined a Hip Hop Dance group and we had a lot of 'gigs' set up to perform in our community. I have also taught young children at MacAndrews Intermediate School. I have represented New Zealand in a Hiphop Dance Group back in 2004.
What are your views on community involvement and interests?
