| Forgotten administrator password
Hi - I recently changed my password as administrator on my acer aspire notebook - ironically at the prompting of my Norton 360 security programme, advising me of weak passwords!
although I thought I had used a regular (!) password, it does not work and I am unable to log on as administrator (ie owner) and so cannot acccess my folders and files including many photographs not downloaded elsewhere. is there anyway I can recover the password to abvopid having to do a complere re-set and lose all my precious photos?
there is a guest user account that is useable but only in a limited way. e.g I cannot connect additional hardware via the guest user account for example, because the administrator's permission (via password) is required.
