First of all, permission has to be given by the person before hand and the procedure costs thousands of dollars. A hospital just cant go ahead and use this procedure and I think there is only one lab in Arizona that handles cryogenics and thats where Walt Disney body is kept.
If you read the article in wikipedia you will see that the procedure is not entirely proven to work yet.

But, coming from the time when Walt Disney passed away, it was reported in the news papers that he had paid for cryogenic preservation. So, I dont know, whatever. I think its great that he wanted this done and had hoped that some day it would be a possibility to cure his illness, I think it was cancer, not sure.
