Cavalier driver door being dumb

So I drive a 2005 chevy cavalier, and the door acts up, mainly the latch and locking system; like when I close my door and try to open it up from the outside it won't open, I have to use my keychain unlock button to open it, and then I can't even unlock it with my key.. It like won't turn... And then sometimes when I close my door it bounces back open.. At first I thought it was because it was snowy but its happened when its summer too.. I can't count the number of times where I have been locked out of my driver door and was lucky enough that my passenger one was unlocked
