Can a Video file be converted to a understandable text file

Hi,

Can you please let me know if a video file be converted to some readable text file. For example, if we read the text file, we should understand what the video shows and vice versa. Is there any such conversion possible. Please help me in this issue as early as possible.

You can convert to another video format, you can extract frames for stills or you can extract the audio portion into an audio file.

You have to understand that a video file contains instructions on how to display pixels on the screen. The player software reads that and places the correct colored pixel in the correct position. So there is no text or any other way of interpreting it.

You might be able to extract the audio portion and then, using speech recognition software, create a transcript. But frankly it would be easier to just type a synopsis yourself.
