Why does my rabbit keep falling over

I have a dwarf rabbit and he keeps falling over he would walk around and when he stops sometimes he falls over.He has food and water but I have to give him the water like a baby. He is 5-6 years old. I took him to the vet and they did some tests we are waiting for the results. Any help is greatly appreciated. God Bless

Our rabbit became paralyzed in its hind quarters a few weeks ago. I had a horrible time locating a rabbit vet. in our area - finally looked on internet and then called my ag. teacher from high school. Ours probably contracted a biological bacteria or condition in the litter that appears within the first 2 years of life - ours was 2 years old almost exactly. It was incurable and sad. Thankfully he passed quickly since we were ready to have him unfortunately euthanized. Good Luck.
