| The scars on my Horse's back legs I have a horse that I have been jumping at a quite a decent height
Her problem is that she has quite bad scaring on her back legs (fence injures before I owned her). The scars are down the front of the canon bone on both back legs there between 10 and 20cm long and between 5 and 10cm wide so not little scars
When I jump her I have full back boots on her so she can’t knock the scars.
This is where the problem starts, she has gotten so used of the back boots that she has started to get lazy and knocking rails on jumps the she would normally clear easy, you can see paint on the boots where she has hit the rail. I don’t really want to take the back boots off her in fear that she could hit a jump and take the tops off the scars
If anyone has any ideas that could help with this problem it would be great
I don’t really want to retire over this problem she has got too ability to do that.
Oh and the scars don’t effect her movement or ability to jump at all |
