It's more than OK, it's great!
A lot of people leave their bunnies outside in freezing weather and quite often they die frpm the cold.

What temperatues does it get to where you live?
I used to keep my rabbits outside and it gets down to -3 C in the middle of winter.
I had an insulated hutch and always covered them over at night but looking back, I wish I had have brought them inside to be house bunnies.

If you can bring your bunny inside during cold nights/days then he/she would be much happier.

I've always had mixed feelings about outdoor bunnies.

Rabbits do need outdoor time, but there are many things, not only weather, that can harm them.

I live in Canada, so the winters are way to cold for an outdoor bunny.

In the summer my rabbits spend the day outside, the evenings inside.

If you choose to do an outdoor hutch make sure it's secure (not only to keep bunny in, but to keep other animals out) and make sure that bunny has a safe place (warm, out of the weather) to hide and sleep.

Out of sight, out of mind, so make sure you check bunny's food and water daily to make sure he has enough.

Lots of hay for warmth and comfort.

I still like the idea of outdoor/indoor, not just one full time.

Good luck and enjoy your new bunny. They're wonderful little animals with such marvelous personalities

We love pictures. Just saying. ;)
