Jumping Horse

About a year and 2 months ago I perchased a 12 year old Appaloosa mare. I've been working on cantering her and I can controll her at the canter. Sometimes she breaks stride but that's all. Anyway, I have been trying to teach her how to pop over some little jumps. I have been lunging her over some poles and cavalitee and over two and three poles on top of eachother. She's been really good over the poles and cavalitee but when she trys to jump the three poles on top of eachother she takes off right but then her back legs crash through the poles. Is there any way I can fix this and how can I get her to jump over higher jumps? Please help!

If a friend of mine can train a tennessee walker as a hunter/jumper then you should be able to get that appy going too, but you know how stubborn they are. Are you sure are shifting your weight off her rump in time?

horse101 agrees: I ahve been lunging her over the three poles on top of eachother. I've only been riding her over the poles and caviltetti.
