If you're not sure if they're pregnant, or not, you are in for a HUGE surprise if one of them is pregnant.

Got about 2 weeks ago...the 2 together would go through 1 bowl of food and 1 bottle of water a day..now they are up to 2 bowls and 2 bottles a day. And both are jumpy when we touch near belly.

I've had plenty of guinea pigs in my life and from what I see, it doesn't really look like they're pregnant. I'm not saying that they aren't but they don't really look so at this point.

Maybe they are eating too much or drinking too much. Jumpy when you touch near their belly? I've NEVER seen a guinea pig that isn't. Generally they are very jittery creatures to begin with.

You're going to have to wait it out and see if they get bigger or maybe pop babies out...then you will know if they are/were pregnant!

Look out for signs including
- Bigger female private part
- Eating and Drinking more
- Increasing of the belly
- When holding the piggy, is there movement in the tummy?
- Walking slower

Hopes this helps, my piggies had all these signs except for walking slower, they still love to run, even whilst pregnant...

Considering the gestational period for a guinea pig, and the fact that this question was posted in September of 2011, if the posters guinea pigs were pregnant, they would have delivered already.

Because I had posted on it, then removed my post, back when the question was first asked. I removed my post because the question had already been sufficiently answered, and my post wasn't necessary. But, because I had posted, I was subscribed to this thread. When you posted, the thread showed up on my subscribed threads list as having received a new reply.
