compatiblity with windows seven

I have windows 7 now installed on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1150 w/2gb memory). Now my programs I have been using (particularly utilities and protection) will not install nor will the drivers sent by Dell's site. What can I do or what will install? system drivers and protection are most important. Thanks.

You can't do anything, the OS is not yet for sale and therefore not currently supported. Best bet is to go back your previous OS or install a free open source OS such as a Linux distribution.

Device drivers and things like Anti-virus and other security issues are often OS specific. You should check these things for compatability before installing beta software.
