Very late on paying my rent

Is there any State or local agencys that can help me pay some rent payments, before i get evicted, been laid off almost 4 months. In the state of Ohio

Try HUD if you have one where you live.
I have gotten my security deposit paid by them twice.
I think they will help with behind in rent too.
But you have to prove that you have a plan/budget on keeping up because they do not like to pay just to buy you a month or two more.

You should check with the welfare agency. I will assume you are on unemployment, have you applied for food stamps ( or what they call it now, no stamps anymore) Different areas have various agencies that at times offer one time payments of one month ( paid directly to landlord)

You can also apply for LIHEAP in Nov to help with utilities.
They will tell you if there are other programs available to also help with utilities in the spring
Dollar energy does the spring where I live.
You can check with Catholic charities organization and Salvation Army they should have a list of places that help with things in your area.
